Facts about False Religions

I get asked often about various facts about cults, false religions, etc. Here are a few short facts about various false religions.

Atheism: believing there is no God.

Buddhism: philosophy of life founded by Siddhartha Gautama who lived about 563-483 B.C.

Hinduism: belief system based in India. No founder or final truth.

Judaism/Kabballah: Ancient religion focused on the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Jahovah's Witnesses: founded by Charles Taze Russell in the late 1800s.

Universalism: belief that God will save all people regardless of faith in Christ.

Wicca: pagan belief system that is focused on the cycle of nature.

New Age: Mix of eastern religions, occult, self-help, and astrology.

Scientology: founded by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard in 1954.

Mormonism: established in 1830 by Joseph Smith.

Islam: estimated 1 billion muslims worldwide. jesus is simply considered a prophet.

Secularism: basing life's meaning on the here and now.

Jesus answered, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me."
Remember there is only one way to Heaven and it comes a relationship with Jesus Christ the risen Savior.
